Tonight and early tomorrow morning will be a time to look up. This month's full Beaver Moon is the third of three autumn supermoons, and will look especially big and bright tonight as it rises. Because of it's elliptical orbit, this is the closest the moon will be to Earth in nearly 70 years. It will be at it's peak just before dawn, tomorrow morning (Monday, 11/14) and it should be spectacular. Link

If you are an early-riser like I am, you may have noticed the bright morning moon. This particular full moon (closest to the September equinox) is called the Harvest Moon and signifies the end of summer. It's a lovely sight in the western, morning sky. Go outside and take a look! Link
